Suddenly it seems that sending two save the dates is the norm – if you’ve already sent out save the dates, and then had to postpone or change your plans, you’ll need to send a second round of save the dates to inform your guests of the new plans.

If you’ve searched for Save the Dates, you already know that there are so many to choose from, it can be hard to find just the right one! So, in the interest of saving you from going down the Save the Date rabbit hole for a second time, I thought I’d share some of Contagious Events’ favorite postponement announcements here:

A little bit of humor never hurt! Personally I love that these read “still getting married” – putting an emphasis on the fact that love endures and nothing will stop weddings. Shop these Let’s Try This Again save the dates from our friends at Minted.

A reminder I think we all need from time to time – I think the sentiment of these Love is Patient cards is something we can all get behind.

GO ELECTRONIC!

Generally speaking, I would recommend sending postponement announcements in the same medium you sent your initial save the dates (so, if you sent save the dates via mail, I would suggest sending your postponements the same way) – but, if you’ve had a lot of guests change addresses and it would be difficult to get the new addresses in light of all that’s going on, or if you’re feeling like you need to get the message out urgently, an electronic announcement is for you. We love Greenvelope for this option!
