We'll work with you to understand the plans you have already made, the vision, and make sure it all comes together seamlessly to create a spectacular setting for your wedding photos. What's that? You don't have a photographer booked yet? Not to worry, we know a guy (and a few gals, too)!
I cannot recommend Joe and Contagious Events highly enough. Joe was able to meet with my son and his fiancé and glean from them what sort of feel and look they wanted for their event before they could even articulate it themselves. His organization and attention to detail was flawless. When we experienced a glitch at our venue, Joe stepped in quickly and masterfully and managed to shield us from the fallout. Hootenanny is the perfect fit for couples who dove right into planning and have crossed the big stuff off the list: at a minimum, a venue and a caterer. If you are feeling like you've hit a block, or if you're not confident in being able to pull off the design that's in your head, Hootenanny is the right fit for you. We'll take the stress of finding suitable vendors to round out your pro wedding team, and we'll obsess over your design ideas until we get it just right.
Contagious Events couples are excited to be part of the planning process and are in full control: we do not have an exclusive vendor list, meaning our couples are free to work with any professional vendor of their choosing. We work alongside our couples to offer vendor suggestions based on their vision, and make sure they have the tools and resources they need to plan with confidence.

My husband and I were toying with the idea of hiring a wedding planner, but knew that did not need someone to build out wedding from the ground up - we already had a venue, a band, and we were fairly confident in booking the rest of our vendors. I had been to countless weddings, and had a pretty good handle on what our vision was. Our venue had a coordinator, but it quickly became clear that we would need some extra help with the details, personalizing, and pulling everything together. As we embarked on our search for a planner, we were having a hard time finding someone right for us. Many offered full service or day-of coordination, but there were very few teams who could meet us in the middle. Not to mention - we were overwhelmed with the cost of it all. Enter: Joe. My mom initially sent me Joe's info, and after our first phone call, I knew that Joe would be the one to help inject our personalities into our wedding. Joe is mindful and respectful of budgets - no matter how big or small. He often reminds his couples that all you need to be married is the license - the rest is a bonus. One of the best things about having Joe as a planner is that every single one of his weddings is unique - looking at photos and hearing stories of other couples' weddings reassured us that Joe would make sure our wedding was uniquely ours and not some package deal. Throughout the planning process, Joe would be available by text or email seemingly whenever we needed him. We'd bounce ideas off of one another in real time and we'd make decisions together. He was always there for a quick vent sesh, or a reality check. He never made us question our decisions, and while I know he was planning several other weddings at the same time, he never made us feel like we were competing for his time. Joe's relationships with vendors, his knowledge of all things wedding, and his ability to personalize things put us at ease and let us know when we were allowed to be appalled at costs, or when we were right where we needed to be. On the day of our wedding, Joe and his team took such good care of us - they had everything in place, they brought us drinks as soon as the ceremony ended, and they even helped tie my reception sneakers! My only regret is not being able to see every little thing we worked so hard on before things got crazy. I can't wait to see photos and the video so we can relive it all. We can't recommend Joe enough - several times throughout the process, my husband and I would say "everyone needs a Joe." We will continue to say it, and we're excited to say we've gained a friend from this process as well.
