Annie and Adam began working with us just as they were preparing to secure Willowdale Estate as their wedding venue. It was the perfect choice for their classic, elegant and fun late September wedding. Their day was full of fun and laughter, and although classic and timeless in style, we injected just enough surprises and unique design elements to keep the wedding unique and personal to Annie and Adam.

The thing I think I love most about Annie and Adam is that they are truly adventurous people. Fun fact: Annie and Adam both traveled the world, via AirBNB and had so many wonderful travel stories and experiences to share. There was a theme throughout the wedding speeches: Adam chasing Annie – and I think there’s just something so romantic about Adam literally and figuratively going across the world to be with the love of his life. Willowdale is an exquisite venue all on its own. But we worked with the team at Flou(-e)r to bring in some classic green and white florals and drown the reception tent in candlelight. Also: flower petals at the end of the ceremony for some of the most fantastic photos.

Some of our favorite details to check out: in place of escort cards and favors, guests were each given a small bud vase with white roses and greenery to match the décor. Attached to the bud vase was the escort card: so when guests brought their bud vase to their table, they were enhancing the table décor – it was a great touch. We also loved that Annie and Adam displayed family photos throughout the house, and asked their close friends to perform (play guitar and sing) during their ceremony. One of our favorite moments: when bride Annie joined K2 and sang for her guests. Annie is a super talented singer and really got people on their feet – it was awesome to witness!
