Jacki + Will
Pink Wedding at Moraine Farm
When I first met Jacki and Will, I knew they were “my people” – they were full of energy, genuinely excited to not only plan a wedding but be married to each other, and even though they kept talking about classic style, I knew they had an edge that we were going to be able to bring out in the design process. The result: an incredible, high-energy wedding where not a single guest took the early bus back to the hotels and everyone danced the night away, no doubt due to the talents of Hot Mess.
Jacki and Will exchanged vows at St. Mary Star of the Sea in Beverly, Massachusetts in a full Catholic Mass. It was a beautiful and thoughtful service that included readings from guests close to Jacki and Will. Even better, the priest who performed the wedding and married Jacki and Will is a family friend, so every detail was personal and intentionally planned out. Our friends at Flou(-e)r adorned the aisle with floral details and alter pieces in a classic blush and white color scheme, using dahlias, roses, ranunculus and hydrangeas. We’re so lucky to have had Anne Liles travel north to Massachusetts to help document the day.
After the wedding ceremony, guests arrived at The Estate at Moraine Farm, where they enjoyed cocktails while mingling with one another and taking in the beautiful property. The tented reception was catered by the team at Fireside Catering and Hot Mess kept the dance floor packed the entire evening. When guests needed a breath of fresh air, they enjoyed our yard games on the lawn and quiet, rest areas inside the main house.
We had so much fun, not only working with Jacki and Will throughout the planning process, but also working at their wedding. Their family and friends had such a great energy – it was evident these two are loved by many!
